Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- valid CDL-A license
- 21 years of age or older
- at least 6 months of commercial driving experience
- meet all state licensing and certification requirements
- clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- pass post offer drug test
- pass criminal background check
- pass road test
- possess or able to obtain DOT health card
- able to hand-lift and use equipment to move products weighing between 10 and 90 pounds
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 6 or more months commercial driving experience for certain routes or 12 or more months for others
- valid CDL-A license
- must be 21 years or older
- meet all state licensing and certification requirements
- clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- pass road test
- possess or able to obtain valid DOT health card
- physical ability to lift products ranging from 10 to 90 pounds using equipment
Job Duties
- perform required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer according to DOT regulations
- follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- report safety hazards immediately
- inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- perform count check of items and verify customer invoices
- move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer
- drive and deliver customer orders according to route schedules
- unload products and transport items to designated storage areas
- perform damage control on items and communicate with supervisor as needed
- verify delivery and obtain proper signatures
- collect payment where required
- load customer returns and secure trailer doors
- unload damaged goods and complete paperwork
- maintain daily record of hours of service and log accordingly
- perform general housekeeping and secure equipment at shift end
- perform other related duties as assigned
