Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Class A CDL license at hire
- Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
- Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage including marijuana and a background check
- Clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
- Registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent
Job Qualifications
- Class A CDL license at hire
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible night shifts and regional routes
- Successful completion of drug test and background check
- Familiarity with Department of Transportation regulations
Job Duties
- Deliver food products to regional chain restaurants and customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle with a Class A CDL license
- Load and unload cases weighing up to 100 pounds using ramps and two-wheelers
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Complete all deliveries on assigned routes, including occasional overnight trips
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate effectively with dispatch and management
