Job Requirements
- valid CDL-A license
- minimum 21 years of age
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent
- six or more months commercial driving experience
- clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- ability to pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- ability to pass road test
- meet state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- obtain or maintain valid DOT health card
- physical ability to hand-lift and use equipment to move product cases weighing from 10 to 90 pounds
Job Qualifications

- able to hand-lift and use equipment such as two-wheeler and lift gate to move product cases of varying size and weight
Job Duties
- performs all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor, truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- immediately reports all safety hazards and inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- performs count check of items and checks customer invoices of loaded products and completes all required paperwork accurately
- moves tractor to loading dock and attaches preloaded trailer as needed
- drives to and delivers customer orders following predetermined route schedules and unloads products into customer storage areas
- performs damage control checks on items, scans, contacts supervisor about removing orders, verifies delivery with customer and obtains proper signatures
- collects money where required
- loads customer returns onto trailer and secures trailer doors
- ensures tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- unloads damaged goods and customer returns and completes necessary paperwork
- performs daily record of hours of service and logs in accordance with DOT, state and company requirements
- performs general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock areas and keeps trailers clean and clear
- completes all necessary paperwork and secures equipment at shift end
- performs other related duties as assigned
