Seward Motor Freight Inc. is a reputable trucking company with a rich history dating back to the early 1940s. Founded by Willard and Wanda Miers as a less-than-truckload (LTL) operation transporting freight between Omaha and Seward, Nebraska, the company has steadily grown and evolved over the decades. Job Requirements
- 2+ years of CDL A driving experience
- Valid CDL-A driver’s license
- Ability to comply with DOT regulations
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with truck driving
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum of 2 years CDL-A driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of truck maintenance
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Drive assigned routes safely and efficiently
- Maintain truck cleanliness and perform routine vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatcher and driver manager
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
- Handle drop and hook freight with care
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
