Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of experience in food service or catering
- Valid ServSafe Certification
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6 am to 3 pm
- Physical capability to lift or move inventory, products, carts, and tables
- Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions including hot, humid, or cold settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years minimum experience in food service or catering
- ServSafe Certification
- Knowledge of proper table service techniques and design preferred
- Ability to handle stress and work under pressure
- Demonstrate duties effectively and efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Coordinate and supervise all catering activities under the direction of the Catering Manager
- Work in conjunction with production, conference services, and sales staff to plan and coordinate catering event details
- Review scheduled catering events and collaborate with the Chef to determine logistical needs
- Perform inventories and submit requests for products and equipment
- Coordinate with the catering team and support departments regarding food and beverage expectations, delivery, set-up, and break down of events
- Ensure sanitation, organization, and safety standards are met through checklists and hands-on supervision
- Maintain records and prepare reports to support continuous improvement of catering services
