Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 plus years supervisory experience
  • ServSafe Certification
  • knowledge of proper table service techniques and design preferred
  • proficiency in MS Office products
  • ability to learn event management software

Job Duties

  • maintain excellent public relations with all customers, clients, staff, vendors, and the community
  • achieve high levels of customer and client satisfaction
  • communicate professionally with clients during events to assure their needs are met
  • build relationships with current clients to grow catering sales
  • promptly respond to all catering inquiries
  • maintain established food presentation and service standards
  • update production and catering staff on changes to catered events
  • communicate catering menu offerings attentively including special dietary needs
  • work with production, conference services, and sales staff to plan and coordinate event details
  • prepare all billing of catered events
  • maintain organized record-keeping for each catered event
  • maintain a neat and organized office area
  • perform other office duties as directed by the General Manager
