Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to operate equipment such as trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- attention to detail in documentation and reporting
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Transport food, clothing, and household items to the Catholic Charities building on Roosevelt Road following assigned schedules
- respond promptly to unscheduled pickup requests and deliveries
- move and manage large quantities of product including transferring items to/from storage and throughout the building
- ensure all food products are handled safely and according to proper code and standards
- serve as a positive representative of Catholic Charities while working with donors, volunteers, clients, and staff
- receive donations, provide excellent customer service, and maintain strong donor relationships
- complete accurate receipts and documentation for all incoming donations
- follow established procedures to ensure records are timely and properly maintained
- operate equipment including a large truck, forklift, pallet jack, cardboard baler, snow blower, and floor scrubber
- perform routine building and vehicle maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation
