The role offered is a part-time, temporary position based primarily at the Main Cashiers Office located at Rio Salado College in Tempe, Arizona. This position is designed for individuals seeking flexible work hours, offering approximately 19.5 hours per week, typically Monday through Thursday on closing shifts with occasional weekend hours during peak registration periods. The hourly rate is $15.15, but this position is not eligible for traditional employment benefits due to its part-time, temporary status.
This customer service-oriented role involves working in a high-paced, dynamic environment that demands strong multitasking skills. The successful candidate will process various student payments, including credit cards, checks, money orders, and cash, while managing access to student account charges. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires interaction with both internal and external customers, in-person and over the phone. The position also includes general administrative duties such as document scanning, filing, and data entry to support campus operations.
Working both remotely and onsite, the ideal candidate must be comfortable using computer systems extensively and capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
