- some food service experience is a plus
- basic reading and math skills
- must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) used by guests
- knowledge and ability to operate cash register and various payment forms

Job Duties
- Set up and maintain an organized, well-stocked, and clean service and seating area
- operate the cash register to accurately process transactions including cash, check, credit, or student meal cards
- greet guests as they enter or exit the retail area
- assist in other front-of-house duties in student dining areas
- provide friendly and efficient customer service
- ensure proper cash handling and transaction accuracy
- maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
