Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1-3 months related experience or training
- current California Food Handlers Card
- ability to read and interpret financial and written information
- basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing
- English verbal and written communication skills
- ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- flexibility to work in different departments as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- current California Food Handlers Card
- ability to read and interpret financial and written information
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and dispense change correctly
- ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
Job Duties
- Greet guests and make beverage and food suggestions
- take and process guest orders quickly and accurately
- collect money and close out tickets accurately
- prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipe or brand specification
- assist in food preparation as needed
- maintain organization and cleanliness of the restaurant
- assist in multiple departments as required
- work on special projects as directed
- adapt to changes and additional responsibilities as assigned
