Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience or training

  • Effective oral communication skills in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Proficient English reading, writing, and comprehension skills
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety standards
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to engage professionally with guests and team members

  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in duties
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Observe safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
  • Consistently maintain punctuality and attendance
  • Ability to learn and embrace company culture as a tool for performing duties and interacting with guests, employees, and management

Job Duties

  • Assist with ensuring all guests receive a superior dining experience
  • Turn tables as quickly as possible by clearing, cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting a table within 45 seconds of vacancy
  • Assist with running food
  • Maintain good knowledge of the menu and a thorough understanding of the floor plan
  • Assist other employees whenever possible to promote teamwork
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar, wait stations, parking lot, patio, and restrooms
  • Stock wait stations and bar with necessary supplies such as glasses, ice bins, side plates, and silverware
  • Serve all guests with interest, speed, and attention to detail according to company service standards
  • Complete all assigned opening, running, shift change, and closing duties
  • Empty and reline trash cans as needed
  • Replace linen bags as necessary
  • Provide guests with information about the restaurant and the company when required
  • Adhere to company policies by never complaining about guests and never discussing tips or tip sharing
  • Maintain professionalism at all times
