Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to read, write, and understand written and spoken English
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Job Duties
- assist with ensuring all guests receive a superior dining experience
- turn tables as quickly as possible by clearing, cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting in 45 seconds from vacancy
- assist with running food
- have a good knowledge of the menu and excellent knowledge of the floor plan
- assist other employees whenever possible
- maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar, wait stations, parking lot, patio, and restrooms
- have full awareness of necessary stocking at wait stations and bar including glasses, ice bins, side plates, silverware
- serve all guests with interest, speed, and attention to detail according to Taste Buds Management's service standards
- complete all assigned opening, running, shift change and closing duties including side work
- empty and reline trash cans as necessary
- replace linen bags as necessary
- supply guests with information about the restaurant and company
- ensure all side work is checked by a manager or shift leader
- maintain professionalism and do not discuss tips or tip share
- demonstrate skill and understanding in all tasks
