Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or ged preferred
  • ability to read write and understand english to communicate with employees residents and guests
  • sufficient manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment and utensils
  • physical ability to stand walk climb stairs crouch bend stoop reach grasp push pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods
  • ability to lift push pull or carry up to 50 pounds
  • one-year fine dining or restaurant experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • assist in the delivery of culinary activities for all dining venues including bistro casual formal luminations memory care and club room
  • support special events and private functions with timely and courteous service
  • clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests
  • ensure dining areas are clean and well-stocked during service
  • communicate effectively with kitchen and dining room staff to facilitate smooth operations
  • provide friendly assistance to residents family members and guests enhancing their dining experience
  • follow all community standards processes procedures and practices under the general guidance of the executive chef and dining room supervisor
