Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a busser or in a similar role in hospitality
- Ability to maintain physical stamina for standing and lifting
- Effective communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Commitment to teamwork and customer service
- Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Valid Food Handler Certificate
- Prior busser experience in a high-volume restaurant, lounge, or nightclub
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- Comfortable standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods (up to 50 lbs)
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Flexible schedule including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance following company standards
- Anticipate guest needs and accommodate requests promptly
- Keep dining areas clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
- Support service staff by communicating guest needs clearly and efficiently
- Refill water and assist with beverage service as needed
- Clear and reset tables swiftly and thoroughly during service
- Keep stations and the venue clean and fully stocked
- Comply with all sanitation and health department standards
- Prepare floor and side stations at opening, and complete side-work at closing
- Assist in setting tables and prepping areas for upcoming courses
- Attend pre-service meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings
- Report any equipment or furniture damage to management immediately
- Foster a positive and team-oriented atmosphere by learning and leading by example
