Élephante is a coastal Italian restaurant concept that transports guests to the Italian coast through thoughtfully designed spaces and seasonal menus. Founded by Nick Mathers' Wish You Were Here Group, Élephante opened its first location in Santa Monica, California, in 2018.
The restaurant offers light coastal Italian cuisine, a variety of hand-crafted cocktails, and an extensive wine program showcasing regions across Italy. This includes limited vintage wines and proprietary private labels.
Expansion to Scottsdale
In December 2024, Élephante expanded to Scottsdale, Arizona, with a new location at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The 12,000-square-foot space features a jungle oasis ambiance, characterized by towering cacti, lush florals, natural travertine floors, and bespoke furniture.
The Scottsdale menu includes wood-fired pizzas, fresh pastas, sustainably sourced seafood, and meats. It also offers an extensive beverage program featuring craft cocktails and a curated wine selection.
