Job Requirements

  • At least 6 months experience in a high volume restaurant
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and the desire to work with and learn from an amazing team
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends and some holidays
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Be punctual and professional
  • Positive attitude
  • Be a team player
  • Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
  • Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long periods
  • Must have a current food handlers card or able to obtain one

Job Duties

  • Prepare dining areas before guests are seated, including setting silverware, napkins, tableware and condiments
  • Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
  • Clean and reset tables after guests leave
  • Act as the contact point between Front of House and Back of the House staff
  • Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
  • Deliver orders from the kitchen to guest tables rapidly and accurately
  • Inform restaurant staff about customer feedback or requests (asking for the check etc)
