Job Requirements
- Pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous restaurant experience desired
- Ability to use employee self-service on company’s human resources/payroll database
- Must have a valid driver’s license due to potential golf cart use
- Must possess unexpired Arizona food and liquor certifications
- Must meet age requirements to handle and serve alcoholic beverages (if under 19, liquor certification not required and alcohol not served)
- Ability to manage multiple, competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Regular attendance required
- Flexible schedule including availability on weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and move between 25 and 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to maintain personal hygiene standards
- Willingness to conform to safety standards and use appropriate safety equipment
Job Qualifications
- Pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous restaurant experience desired
- Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional service - should be friendly, approachable, and attentive
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration ability to work with kitchen staff, servers, and other restaurant staff
- Strong communication skills including effective listening
- Highly organized to manage multiple tables
- Flexible and adaptable to changes in workflow, menu items, staff, etc.
- Ability to remain calm during peak hours or challenging guests or members
- Demonstrated working knowledge of food handling regulations
- Ability to use employee self-service on company’s human resources/payroll database
Job Duties
- Set up tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, condiments, etc. before guests are seated
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests answering questions or notifying the Server or management with any concerns guests may have
- During meal service, provide attentive service to assigned tables removing used dishes, filling water, etc.
- Clean tables including removing used dishes, glasses, and utensils from tables after guests have finished their meals
- Sweep under the tables as well as the general restaurant areas
- Wipe down tables and chairs to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards
- Restock items such as napkins, condiments, etc., as needed throughout shift
- Provide assistance to Server by bringing them additional items they may need for their tables
- Assist Server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods
- May be scheduled to assist in setting up banquet tables, service food, or other tasks related to events
- Participate in pre-shift meetings, taste tests, and training
- Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment
- Follow good personal hygiene guidelines
- Perform other duties, as assigned
