Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • previous restaurant experience desired
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • unexpired Arizona food and liquor certifications
  • meet age requirements to handle and serve alcoholic beverages
  • ability to use employee self-service on company’s human resources/payroll database

Job Duties

  • Set up tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, condiments, etc. before guests are seated
  • provide friendly and attentive service to guests answering questions or notifying the Server or management with any concerns guests may have
  • during meal service, provide attentive service to assigned table(s) removing used dishes, filling water, etc.
  • clean tables including removing used dishes, glasses, and utensils from tables after guests have finished their meals
  • sweep under the tables as well as the general restaurant areas
  • wipe down tables and chairs to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards
  • restock items such as napkins, condiments, etc., as needed throughout shift
  • provide assistance to Server by bringing them additional items they may need for their tables
  • assist Server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods
  • may be scheduled to assist in setting up banquet tables, service food, or other tasks related to events
  • participate in pre-shift meetings, taste tests, and training
  • conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment
  • follow good personal hygiene guidelines
  • perform other duties, as assigned
