Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in import/export operations with ocean and air freight
  • excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • good organizational skills and highly detailed personality
  • strong understanding of Incoterms
  • purchasing, invoicing and inventory experience
  • high level of customer and vendor interaction
  • ability to work with accounting department to streamline tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Japanese bilingual preferred but not required
  • 1-3 years of experience in import/export operations with ocean and air freight
  • excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • good organizational skills and highly detailed personality
  • strong understanding of Incoterms
  • purchasing, invoicing and inventory experience
  • high level of customer and vendor interaction
  • ERP (SAP) experience is a big plus
  • ability to work with accounting department to streamline tasks

Job Duties

  • Coordinate deliveries with customers, vendors, and shipping companies for ocean and air freight ensuring smooth transportation and compliance with trade regulations
  • Process purchase orders, sales orders, and invoices maintaining customer and product information and updating ERP system records
  • Provide timely support to customers by responding to inquiries, updating order statuses, and ensuring excellent communication
  • Generate and issue invoices accurately and timely upon shipment of orders
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels ensuring stock accuracy and proper tracking within the ERP system
  • Perform other administrative support duties as assigned
