Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Class A license
- No accidents in the previous 3 years
- No at-fault accidents in the previous 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years
- No DUIs in the previous 7 years
- No positive drug screens in the previous 7 years
- Must meet background screening requirements from the US Postal Service
Job Qualifications
- Class A commercial driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years of over-the-road (OTR) driving experience
- Clean accident record with no at-fault accidents in the previous 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years
- No DUIs in the previous 7 years
- No positive drug screens in the previous 7 years
- Ability to meet background screening requirements from the US Postal Service
- Compliance with DOT and OSHA certification requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading mail
Job Duties
- Operate company-owned or leased trucks to facilitate the movement of US Mail operations and Freight operations
- Operate company-owned or leased trucks for the delivery, pickup, and relocation of US Mail
- Load and unload the mail off the trailer
- Perform required before, during, and after-operation inspections on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to shop personnel
- Clean equipment and complete required reports
- Provide outstanding customer service during the delivery and pickup operations of US Mail and Freight
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
- Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
- Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards
