Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Previous ski or mountain bike industry experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for full shifts
  • Physical ability to bend, reach, climb, lift up to 25 pounds, push, pull, and stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to ski or snowboard at intermediate level
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons
  • Advanced bootfitting certification
  • Ability to maintain equipment cleanliness and safety protocols

  • Advanced bootfitting certification
  • Strong knowledge of foot anatomy and biomechanics
  • Experience in ski and snowboard boot technology and modifications
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service and personalized fit recommendations
  • Knowledge of retail sales and product upselling techniques
  • Ability to train and mentor junior staff
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability
  • Comfortable using computers and point of sale software

Job Duties

  • Conduct professional boot fittings using knowledge of foot anatomy, biomechanics, and boot technology
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, listening to needs, and delivering personalized advice
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of boots, liners, and fit technologies
  • Perform boot modifications including liner molding, shell stretching, cuff alignment, heel lifts, and canting
  • Support sales of ski and snowboard equipment and accessories
  • Engage with guests to understand their ability, goals, and preferences for a tailored experience
  • Maintain clean and organized boot and hardgoods displays, monitor stock levels, and track repairs
  • Ensure safe and proper use of bootfitting tools and maintain fitting area cleanliness
  • Collaborate with retail team, tuning shop, and rental department for seamless guest service
  • Support operations during busy periods with flexible scheduling
  • Assist with alpine hardgoods sales and Demo Center support during downtime
