Job Requirements

  • Class A CDL license
  • NCCCO certification
  • Between 2 and 5 years of commercial driving experience
  • Ability to communicate with customers
  • Familiarity with DOT requirements
  • Ability to minimize down time between deliveries
  • Self-motivated and able to perform role with minimal direction

Job Qualifications

  • Licensed Class A CDL driver
  • NCCCO certification
  • 3 years of related experience, preferably in the construction industry
  • Ability to communicate with customers
  • Familiarity with DOT requirements
  • Self-motivated and able to perform role with minimal direction

Job Duties

  • Transport precast materials, secure loads and ensure that your truck does not exceed the maximum weight limits for transport
  • Understand and are fully aware of all DOT guidelines and adhere to such regulations
  • Maintain logs of working hours, of vehicle service and repair status following applicable state and federal regulations
  • Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
  • Ensure proper customer service by reviewing and comparing invoice to what product is loaded
  • Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verify instructions, and requested routes/drop off location
  • Read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes
  • Drive truck to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes
