Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • bartending experience
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong organizational skills
  • experience in supervising staff
  • knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • excellent customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • experience in hospitality or food and beverage management
  • knowledge of local health and safety codes and regulations
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage scheduling and inventory
  • experience with banquet or event coordination
  • familiarity with food handling certification requirements
  • ability to resolve guest complaints effectively

Job Duties

  • maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel
  • personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding to client or guest needs
  • responds to client or guest complaints relating to food and beverage department in a timely manner
  • creates and updates a weekly schedule for all Bistro staff with approval from food and beverage manager
  • assists in purchasing and ordering of food items and supplies
  • assists banquet captain and events manager with coordination, preparation and service of all banquets and meetings
  • maintains a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management
