Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum two to three years of customer service experience
- Experience in medical reception preferred
- Ability to learn GHC-SCW procedures and practices
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service orientation with cultural sensitivity
- Ability to make timely decisions and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to supervise and guide staff
- Professional and diplomatic demeanor
- Proficiency in computer programs and online systems
- Ability to maintain patient and personnel confidentiality
- Knowledge of HIPAA requirements
- Ability to prioritize and perform work timely
- Ability to record and relay messages accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum two to three years of customer service work experience
- Experience in medical reception or unit clerk roles preferred
- Prior leadership experience desirable
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Proficiency with computer programs including word processing, databases, and email
- Ability to learn and use electronic medical records and scheduling systems
- Knowledge of quality improvement principles
- Ability to analyze and recommend process improvements
Job Duties
- Provide leadership and supervison to reception team
- Train and guide staff on reception functions and customer service
- Collaborate with Clinic Manager on daily clinic operations
- Address and resolve patient concerns and issues
- Perform administrative tasks including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient check-in
- Maintain organization of reception desk and paper medical records
- Assist with maintaining provider schedules and staff work assignments
