Job Requirements

  • minimum six months bartending experience
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work well in a fast-paced and team environment
  • must be personable and professional

Job Duties

  • demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations pertaining to alcohol distribution
  • learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company serving size standards
  • check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirements
  • communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if required
  • contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond scope
  • request additional or restock products as required
  • handle cash accurately and be responsible for bar bank
  • maintain clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • set up and breakdown bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
