Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 2-4 years of bartending experience in food or beverage-focused restaurant preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, verbal and written
- Willingness and ability to learn and practice The 7 Intents Service Model
- Knowledge and appreciation of food and cocktail culture and trends
- Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- Superior knowledge of classic cocktails and cocktail production techniques
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
- Follow supervisor’s instructions and perform under stressful conditions
- Maintain appropriate uniform and personal appearance
Job Qualifications
- 2-4 years of bartending experience in food or beverage-focused restaurant preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, verbal and written
- Knowledge and appreciation of food and cocktail culture and trends
- Extensive beer, wine and spirit knowledge
- Superior knowledge of classic cocktails, all major spirit categories, and cocktail production techniques
- Ability to multi-task
- Learn and effectively practice The 7 Intents Service Model
- Understand all menu items and effectively advise guests with allergies and food preferences of possible modifications
- Think critically and provide solutions for guests
- Collaborate and contribute to a diverse service team
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication
- Handle multiple priorities and tasks while under pressure
Job Duties
- Maintain stock, prepare and store all garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
- Present cocktail list to guests, answer questions and make suggestions regarding cocktails
- Coordinate completion of tasks with other members of the bar team
- Consistently maintain a clean and organized bar and service well
- Accurately input all orders into the restaurant Point of Sale system, present an accurate guest check, accept payment, and quickly complete the transaction
- Service of food and beverage to include order-taking, delivery, and clearing of items
- Maintain awareness of and compliance with all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
- Follow supervisor’s instructions
- Perform under more than average stressful conditions
- Make appropriate judgment calls under stressful conditions
- Maintain clean and orderly work area throughout shift and leave it ready for the following shift
- Acquire and wear appropriate uniform as prescribed in the training manual
- Maintain and clean uniform
- Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the established image of the restaurant
- Read and be accountable for information in the Echo and Rig employee handbook
