Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to perform physical activities like standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and sometimes loud environment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Availability for shift work including opening, running, and closing duties
- Commitment to professional behavior and teamwork
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
- Ability to learn and apply company culture in guest and team interactions
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group settings
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to detailed but uncomplicated instructions
Job Duties
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders quickly and courteously to guests
- Ensure all food and drinks meet Taste Buds Management's specifications
- Practice 3 Deep Mentality to provide excellent service to all bar guests especially during busy times
- Serve all guests with interest, speed, and attention to detail according to service standards
- Be accountable for the service of a particular bar section while being responsible for the entire bar and bar area
- Allow other staff to deliver food or drinks without interruption
- Obtain and use guests' names to build a regular clientele
- Supply guests with information about the restaurant and company
- Complete opening, running, shift change, and closing duties assigned by management
- Read and complete side work duties posted in the Bar Duties Book
- Maintain professionalism by not discussing tips or complaining about guests
- Demonstrate quality, quantity, safety, and punctuality competencies
