Job Requirements

Pass appropriate security clearances per company policy
One year experience in food and beverage position
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks like lifting up to 60 pounds, bending, stretching, and reaching
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates
Knowledge of age verification for alcohol service
Ability to work any day/shift including weekends
Physical presence at the hotel required, no telecommuting

Job Qualifications

One year experience in food and beverage position
Experience with chain food and retail outlet preferred
High School diploma or equivalent
Associate's Degree preferred
Food Handling and Alcohol Safety certifications preferred
Knowledge of age requirements and verifying those who order alcoholic beverages
Understanding of menu items, preparation methods and beverage choices
Familiarity with various types of alcoholic beverages, cocktails trends and preparation
Knowledge of brand standards of operation
Awareness of area shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions to assist guests
Computer literacy to operate property management system
Friendly professional attitude
Ability to sell, suggest and serve quality food and beverage items as per standards
Ability to multi task and remain guest service centric
Strong communication skills
Problem-solving skills with a hospitable attitude
Teamwork abilities in cleaning, side work, food preparation and storage

Job Duties

Prepare and consistently maintain working area and supplies in a guest ready atmosphere
Prepare/serve drinks as requested by guests
Process guest charges and gratuities in accordance to standards, policies and procedures
Maintain safety and security practices, have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
Ensure guests are provided with the highest quality product and service
Maintain certification from a brand approved responsible vendor training program
Maintain liquor inventory regularly
Perform other duties as assigned that the associate is capable of performing
