Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
  • take drink orders, make recommendations, and answer questions about beverages and menu items
  • ensure guests have a positive and memorable experience throughout their visit
  • handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
  • mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and presentation standards
  • maintain product knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and specialty cocktails
  • monitor drink quality, consistency, and accuracy for every order
  • prepare garnishes and maintain a stocked, organized workstation
  • set up and break down the bar before and after service
  • restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and supplies as needed throughout the shift
  • maintain cleanliness of the bar, equipment, and service areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • follow proper opening and closing procedures
  • accurately enter orders into the POS system
  • process payments, handle cash responsibly, and follow all financial procedures
  • maintain accountability for cash drawers and tabs
  • follow all alcohol service laws and company policies regarding age verification
  • monitor guest intoxication levels and act responsibly to ensure a safe environment
  • adhere to sanitation protocols and maintain compliance with local health regulations
  • track inventory levels for liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies
  • communicate low-stock items or shortages to management in a timely manner
  • assist with weekly or monthly inventory counts as needed
  • collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • assist with bar training for new staff if assigned
  • support a positive, team-oriented work environment
