Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
- take drink orders, make recommendations, and answer questions about beverages and menu items
- ensure guests have a positive and memorable experience throughout their visit
- handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
- mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and presentation standards
- maintain product knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and specialty cocktails
- monitor drink quality, consistency, and accuracy for every order
- prepare garnishes and maintain a stocked, organized workstation
- set up and break down the bar before and after service
- restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and supplies as needed throughout the shift
- maintain cleanliness of the bar, equipment, and service areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
- follow proper opening and closing procedures
- accurately enter orders into the POS system
- process payments, handle cash responsibly, and follow all financial procedures
- maintain accountability for cash drawers and tabs
- follow all alcohol service laws and company policies regarding age verification
- monitor guest intoxication levels and act responsibly to ensure a safe environment
- adhere to sanitation protocols and maintain compliance with local health regulations
- track inventory levels for liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies
- communicate low-stock items or shortages to management in a timely manner
- assist with weekly or monthly inventory counts as needed
- collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- assist with bar training for new staff if assigned
- support a positive, team-oriented work environment
