Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding
  • Physical ability to meet job demands including lifting, standing, walking
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and culture
  • Ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Duties

  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders quickly and courteously to the guests
  • Ensure all food and drinks meet Taste Buds Management's specifications
  • Practice 3 Deep Mentality to provide excellent service even when the bar is extremely busy
  • Serve all guests with interest, speed, and attention to detail according to service standards
  • Be responsible for the entire bar and bar area while managing a particular section
  • Allow others to deliver their items without interruption
  • Obtain and use guests' names to build a regular clientele
  • Provide information about the restaurant and company
  • Complete opening, running, shift change, and closing duties as assigned
  • Read and complete side work duties posted in the Bar Duties Book
  • Maintain professionalism by not complaining about guests or discussing tips publicly
  • Follow management distribution of duties and station assignments
