Ema Austin is an exciting new Mediterranean restaurant set to open in late Fall 2025 at The Domain - NORTHSIDE in Austin, Texas. The restaurant is part of the Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises group, a nationally recognized hospitality company known for its diverse portfolio of over 100 restaurants acclaimed for their quality food, exceptional service, and workplace culture. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- must be 21 years or older
- able to work flexible hours including weekends
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- complete alcohol awareness training
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to multitask calmly and effectively
- good communication skills
- familiarity with POS systems
- knowledge of alcohol safety and awareness
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages to guests according to recipes
- stock/restock appropriate areas of the bar with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies
- available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- effectively service a full bar top, cocktail station, and dining room orders
- safely and effectively transport food or beverages to a table of three in a single trip
- ability to safely tolerate hands being exposed to liquids frequently, including water, cleaning solutions, alcohol, various juices and other liquids
- safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives and blenders
