Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous barista experience preferred
- Basic reading and math skills
- Ability to communicate and understand primary language(s) used by guests
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Ability to operate cash register and payment devices accurately
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm with no late nights or weekends
Job Qualifications
- Barista experience with espresso and specialty drinks
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Basic reading and math skills
- Ability to communicate and understand primary languages used by guests
- Knowledge and ability to operate cash register and various payment forms
Job Duties
- Follows all cash handling procedures, counts back change correctly
- Prepares and presents food and beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations, investigates and resolves customer incidents, documenting if necessary
- Follows current trends in the coffee business, makes operations or menu suggestions, assists in menu development
- Runs a register, other devices and credit card machine accurately
- Ensures accurate accounting of all transactions, collections and disbursements during work shift
- Communicates with our guests in a friendly manner
- Assists with special events as assigned
