Job Requirements

  • previous barista experience required
  • knowledge of how brewing equipment operates
  • SERV Safe Certification
  • ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, and stand without limitation and for long periods of time
  • ability to carry 50lbs on a consistent basis
  • reading, writing, oral proficiency, and basic math skills

Job Duties

  • prepare and stock station continuously throughout the day
  • greet guests determining their coffee interests and needs
  • educate guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions
  • prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques along with serving pastries, sandwiches, and other food items
  • maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
  • use cash register, accurate cash handling and payment processing
  • work as a team with others, train new team members, and cross train in other departments
  • complete weekly inventory and order list
  • clean and maintain all equipment continuously
  • perform any other tasks as requested by Operations Manager
