Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
2+ years of barback or food and beverage industry experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
Flexible and varying schedule availability
Consistent attendance
Ability to work in dark environments with strobe lights fog and artificial smells
Physical ability to perform cleaning and stocking tasks
Any local or state required certifications or licenses

Job Duties

Prepare the bar for operational readiness by setting up and stocking liquor ice beer kegs glassware utensils cocktail napkins and garnishes
Maintain cleanliness of bar glassware utensils counters ashtray and trash cans including cleaning spills excess liquid and broken glass in a timely manner
Open clean and stock washed glassware following dishwashing specifications and procedures
Assist bartenders with cleaning bars at the end of shifts removing liquor and returning it to designated storage
Provide friendly courteous service to bartenders and wait staff
