Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to handle, carry or lift items weighing up to 200 pounds such as kegs and ice
- capability to move about the facility safely and efficiently
- ability to handle food, objects, and utensils effectively and safely
- physical ability to bend, stand, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
- tolerance for potential temperature changes in the work area
- must be at least 18 years old per state law
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Food service experience with general knowledge of bar and nightclub operations
- must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
- must be at least age 18 or older, depending on state regulations
- strong communication skills for interaction with guests, cooks, wait staff, and supervisors
- alcohol awareness certification and/or valid food service permit or health/food handler card as required by local or state agencies
- reading and writing abilities for taking orders and completing paperwork
- basic mathematical skills used frequently
- flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Show that you are an energetic, outgoing, fun person while maintaining professionalism
- perform basic prep work behind the bar including refilling ice bins, restocking beer and liquor, cutting garnishes
- change empty kegs in the keg room and move full kegs
- assist in maintaining a clean bar area by cleaning spills and emptying trash cans
- organize bar and drink ware
- clear and clean the bar promptly
- perform multiple tasks at once
- offer polite, professional, courteous customer service
- communicate effectively, clearly, patiently and with humor with co-workers and guests
- complete all assigned side work
