Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to handle, carry or lift items weighing up to 200 pounds such as kegs and ice
  • capability to move about the facility safely and efficiently
  • ability to handle food, objects, and utensils effectively and safely
  • physical ability to bend, stand, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
  • tolerance for potential temperature changes in the work area
  • must be at least 18 years old per state law
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Food service experience with general knowledge of bar and nightclub operations
  • must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
  • must be at least age 18 or older, depending on state regulations
  • strong communication skills for interaction with guests, cooks, wait staff, and supervisors
  • alcohol awareness certification and/or valid food service permit or health/food handler card as required by local or state agencies
  • reading and writing abilities for taking orders and completing paperwork
  • basic mathematical skills used frequently
  • flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Show that you are an energetic, outgoing, fun person while maintaining professionalism
  • perform basic prep work behind the bar including refilling ice bins, restocking beer and liquor, cutting garnishes
  • change empty kegs in the keg room and move full kegs
  • assist in maintaining a clean bar area by cleaning spills and emptying trash cans
  • organize bar and drink ware
  • clear and clean the bar promptly
  • perform multiple tasks at once
  • offer polite, professional, courteous customer service
  • communicate effectively, clearly, patiently and with humor with co-workers and guests
  • complete all assigned side work
