Job Description

The Banquet Operations Set Up Crew position at Snowbird plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events hosted by the resort. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0-6 months of job specific work experience with demonstrated competence
  • Proven ability to maintain an organized and efficient workspace
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work well within a team and be self motivated
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75-100 lbs
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in event setup or hospitality environment is a plus

Job Duties

  • Work with a team managed by a lead each shift to complete a task list of projects necessary for upcoming banquets
  • Set up and tear down for all events moving and setting chairs tables linens in accordance with banquet event orders
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization across events back of house hallways and storage spaces to ensure all areas are conducive to productivity and presentable including vacuuming dusting wiping tables taking out trash and organizing
  • Maintain all equipment including fixing vacuums tables chairs
  • Complete all tasks within Snowbird's health and safety guidelines
