Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years experience as a banquet sous chef
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in high volume catering business
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to cater to guests' needs with a high level of customer service
  • bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • assist in supervising the preparation and cooking of various food items
  • develop menu items and their preparation and garnishment
  • supervise kitchen associates
  • assist with associate training and scheduling of cooks and sous chefs
  • assist in monitoring payroll costs and overtime
  • support culinary direction of the chef and adhere to all brand standards
  • work with the executive chef to develop new banquet menus and recipes
