Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar kitchen leadership role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen tasks including standing for long periods
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate kitchen staff

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in banquet or large-scale kitchen environments
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to manage kitchen staff and coordinate large banquet events
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience with menu planning and inventory management
  • Capacity to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Oversee kitchen operations in the absence of Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen
  • Manage and train kitchen staff to maintain food quality and efficiency
  • Coordinate banquet meal preparation and timely service
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Assist in menu planning and development for banquet events
  • Maintain safety standards and compliance with health regulations
