Job Requirements
- High school diploma not required
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid CA driver’s license required and participation in DMV Pull Notice System
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
- Professional appearance appropriate for a hospitality setting

Job Duties
- Provide professional delivery of food and beverage service to faculty, staff, students and guests
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and provide suggestions based on established menus
- Prepare basic hot and cold food and beverage items following recipes
- Serve food and beverages ensuring accuracy and maintaining presentation standards
- Conduct service transactions and process payments in compliance with cash handling policies
- Stock and maintain supplies, food items, and utensils
- Assist in set-up and break-down of dining room and banquet events
- Deliver food items to various campus locations and offsite events
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities and bus tables as necessary
- Assist in kitchen sanitation and comply with food handling and sanitation procedures
- Adhere to department service standards and all health, safety, and university regulations
- Attend and participate in meetings as required
- Report to work on time and perform other related duties as assigned
