Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED)
- Three to six months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Job Duties
- Review assigned banquet staff functions and banquet menus prior to scheduled events
- Conduct pre-banquet meetings to ensure appearance and hygiene standards, assign stations and partners, and review banquet event orders
- Communicate with Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager or event coordinator to ensure all details are planned and met and to make timely changes
- Ensure availability of china, glassware, silverware, linens, and other items, and secure requisitions for items not in inventory
- Check room set-up prior to events and confirm quantities and timing of food with Executive Chef
- Handle banquet equipment properly and store after use
- Conduct random audits during functions to evaluate food and service quality, temperature, presentation, and availability
- Regularly review banquet schedules and special events
- Incorporate safe work practices in all job performance
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Perform other duties as required
