- Three to six months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Job Duties
- Reviews assigned banquet staff functions and banquet menus prior to scheduled events
- Conducts pre-banquet meetings with staff to ensure appearance and hygiene standards are being met
- Assigns stations and partners and reviews banquet event orders
- Communicates with Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or event coordinator to ensure all details are planned for and met
- Ensures appropriate quantities of china, glassware, silverware, linens, and other items are available and secures requisitions for items not in inventory
- Checks room setup prior to event and confirms food quantities and timing with Executive Chef
- Ensures proper handling and storage of all equipment and event items
- Conducts random audits during functions to evaluate food and service quality
- Regularly reviews banquet schedule for changes and updates
- Incorporates safe work practices in all job performance
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
