Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in banquet or food service environment
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team of 1-10 employees
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to follow company policies and maintain professional appearance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in banquet or food service preferred
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform lifting and standing duties
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Consults with Banquet/Service Manager or Executive Chef on serving arrangements and additional employees and equipment needed
  • Ensures sufficient banquet staff is present and prepared to service the banquet/meeting
  • Ensures that each guest is greeted, served and needs are met in a friendly, professional manner
  • Directs and participates in side work duties and prepares for future events as directed
  • Observes and serves food to ensure correct garnishing and arrangement on plates
  • Directs and clears all dishes and items used in banquet service and ensures proper storage
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area
