Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in banquet or food service environment
- Ability to lead and supervise a team of 1-10 employees
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Capability to work flexible hours
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to follow company policies and maintain professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in banquet or food service preferred
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform lifting and standing duties
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Consults with Banquet/Service Manager or Executive Chef on serving arrangements and additional employees and equipment needed
- Ensures sufficient banquet staff is present and prepared to service the banquet/meeting
- Ensures that each guest is greeted, served and needs are met in a friendly, professional manner
- Directs and participates in side work duties and prepares for future events as directed
- Observes and serves food to ensure correct garnishing and arrangement on plates
- Directs and clears all dishes and items used in banquet service and ensures proper storage
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area
