Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Less than twelve months of related experience in baking or pastry work
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds
  • Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environments
  • Flexibility to perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and reaching

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Less than twelve months of related exposure in baking, pastry work, or kitchen settings
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality standards
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Adhere to set recipes and presentation standards when making and baking pastries, bread, desserts, and various baked goods
  • Scale, combine, allocate, and arrange the necessary ingredients for the daily baking tasks
  • Properly handle and manage baking equipment and instruments to ensure safety
  • Oversee the operation of ovens and kitchen devices to guarantee the correct cooking timings and temperatures
  • Comply with regulations concerning food safety and sanitation protocols, such as appropriate food storage, maintaining personal cleanliness, and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area
  • Follow kitchen guidelines for setting up and dismantling workstations
  • Guarantee consistent food quality and standards with each batch prepared throughout the working period
