Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in baking or related food preparation
- Food safety certification(s) required
- Basic math skills for measurement and recipe calculations
- Strong communication skills
- Physical stamina for lifting, standing, and manual labor
- Adherence to safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in baking or a related field
- Established proficiency in baking methodologies, criteria, and health and safety protocols
- Certification essential for achieving food safety certification(s)
- Competency in basic arithmetic and numerical calculations
- Proficient in interpersonal interactions and communication, encompassing strong skills in both written and oral expression
- Physical ability to manage activities like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing
- Willingness to wear specific uniforms and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Job Duties
- Create a selection of baked treats by adhering to production standards and following prescribed recipes
- Organize your workstation with all the required baking equipment and ingredients
- Organize the components by measuring, weighing, combining, chopping, and other essential preparation steps
- Employ baking machinery including ovens, stovetops, and mixers
- Use utensils such as knives carefully and responsibly when preparing meals
- Maintain proper storage of food in accordance with safety regulations
- After utilizing work areas, equipment, and tools, make sure to sanitize them to maintain cleanliness standards
- Deliver outstanding customer service and exhibit a pleasant demeanor when engaging with individuals such as guests, clients, customers, and peers
- Comply with Aramark's safety policies, which involve observing appropriate food handling and hygiene practices
- Maintain the protection of corporate assets through the implementation of prescribed security measures
