Job Requirements
- Commitment to the Mission of BYU
- Ability to mentor and supervise student employees
- Experience with food production and sanitation preferred
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and additional hours
- Physical ability to lift medium weight objects up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to undergo physical exam and lift test
- Adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold current temple recommend
Job Qualifications
- Minimum commitment to the Mission of BYU
- Past food service or bakery experience preferred but not required
- Three years full-time equivalent bakery production experience preferred
- Culinary certification or degree from an accredited culinary school preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
Job Duties
- Produce Cougartail Donuts for Campus Dining Operations
- Help prepare, organize, and deliver orders
- Utilize computerized inventory and ordering system to establish production schedules
- Track inventory levels and verify product quality
- Clean and sanitize baking equipment and production areas
- Mentor and supervise student employees
- Instruct students on proper production and preparation methods
