Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- over six months up to one year of related experience
- physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- ability to perform stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- visual requirements including color vision, depth perception, and field of vision
- ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- adherence to company hygiene and dress policies
- punctuality and reliability

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing hard-to-reach products, loading or unloading items, noting and passing along suggestions, and enhancing the shopping experience
- answers the telephone promptly and takes product orders
- checks daily orders and sets production schedule
- prepares make up, bakes, and fries all department products as needed
- reviews product freshness and pulls stale items
- invoices and puts away products
- anticipates current and future product needs
- inspects incoming products for quality and quantity
- monitors bakery equipment usage and maintenance
- checks signage and labels for accuracy
- reviews department safety issues
- operates as lead with bakery clerks
- prioritizes orders as per customer and manager requests
- proofs items
- pulls product from freezer or cooler
- practices proper sanitation and maintains clean work area
- adheres to company hygiene and dress policies
- follows company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work on time
- orders supplies and merchandise as directed
- reviews product on shelves and re-merchandises
- writes bakery schedule and manages staff attendance in manager's absence
- assists in other store areas
- performs other job-related duties as required
