Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Knowledge of applicable food preparation methods and measures for assigned function
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Good oral communication skills and ability to understand and follow direction
- College degree or Culinary Arts degree preferred or a range of three to four years of related experience and/or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Job Duties
- Needs little to no supervision
- Ability to follow all production lists and ensure orders are put away to HWC standards when the Pastry Chef is not present
- Ability to monitor and/or maintain quality control standards
- Cross-trained in every outlet in the bakery with phenomenal consistency
- Excels in time management
- Ability to prepare and bake a variety of pastries, rolls and/or other baked goods
- Knowledge of maintenance and care of culinary facilities, equipment, supplies, and materials
- Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control
- Ability to assist with team through production lists and duties when Pastry Chef is not present
- Can take an active approach and execute banquets when pastry chef is not present
- Assists Pastry Chef on executing new menu ideas
- Ability to create different display cakes and showpieces
