Job Requirements

  • Knowledge on food producing process, sanitization, quality program
  • Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice/procedure
  • Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge including FDA
  • Confectionery/foods major recommended
  • Food Handler's Certificate preferred
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Stellar customer service both internally and externally
  • High emotional intelligence with ability to work with and manage diverse teams

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Responsible for frying donuts, placing toppings, and decorating pastries and bread as needed
  • Carrying out kitchen operations and production activities
  • Baking recipes and preparing all desserts
  • Performing general oven duties including checking dough conditioner
  • Preparing all necessary materials and ingredients for baking
  • Scaling and shaping breads, loaves, and pastries
  • Maintaining sanitization procedures and overall cleanliness of workstation and kitchen
  • Applying knowledge of bread production methods and organization
  • Prioritizing and finishing all daily baking tasks
  • Ensuring workplace safety and hygiene for employees and guests
  • Receiving, stocking, and storing food supplies in designated areas
  • Reporting equipment malfunctions and monitoring food supply levels
  • Completing various records for production, usage, and waste
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
