The position available at the TJ Maxx store located at 2850 Dekalb Pike in Norristown, PA, offers a starting pay range from $14.75 to $15.25 per hour, reflecting factors like skills, qualifications, and experience. This role serves as a crucial link in delivering an excellent customer experience by ensuring operational efficiency in the receiving and merchandising processes, prioritizing teamwork, and maintaining a clean and well-organized store environment. As a key member of the merchandising team, you will be responsible for managing the flow of merchandise from truck delivery through to the sales floor, guiding associates in tagging, hanging, securing, and coding items correctly while upholding the company’s merchandising and signage standards.

This opportunity also emphasizes leadership and mentorship, as you will train and coach associates in processing principles, productivity improvement, and adherence to standards and policies. You'll play an active role in fostering a positive store culture that values honesty, integrity, and customer engagement. Job Duties

  • Create a positive internal and external customer experience
  • promote a culture of honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality
  • orchestrate truck delivery prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor
  • train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles
  • ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  • communicate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
  • monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary
  • organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment
  • maintain merchandising philosophy and signage standards
  • uphold cleanliness and recovery standards in backroom area
  • ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
  • communicate effectively with management and associates on priorities and progress
  • provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
  • partner with management on associate training needs
  • ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • promote credit and loyalty programs
  • support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs
