Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or automotive reception preferred
- Ability to handle cash and electronic payments accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to resolve customer complaints diplomatically
- Basic computer skills
- Availability to work varying full-time or part-time schedules including Saturdays
- Commitment to maintaining a professional and tidy workspace

- Demonstrates integrity and professionalism
- Experience in customer service or automotive service reception preferred
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor

- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with automotive service processes is a plus
Job Duties
- Reconciles customer bills
- Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers
- Records amount received
- Makes change and issues receipts to customers
- Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise
- Refers dissatisfied customers to appropriate individuals for resolution
- Maintains and files repair orders, parts invoices, rental forms
- Lists missing documents
- Closes all open invoices
- Reconciles gas purchase statements
- Assists service and parts department with telephone coverage
- Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to parts and service departments
- Works with department manager to stay updated on new products, services, features, values, and pricing
- Manages internal paperwork for new and used cars
- Processes WE OWE transactions
- Generates repair orders
- Maintains a professional appearance
- Keeps work area neat and clean
- Performs other duties as assigned
